February is Shop Local Month in Minnesota, proclaimed by Governor Walz in response to the impact recent immigration enforcement activity has had on our communities and local businesses.

We are part of a long-standing community corner of Randolph and Hamline where we are lucky to be in the company of local treasures like The Nook burger and bowling, Cold Front Ice Cream, Schmidtys barber shop, The Coffee Cup restaurant, and Moveables consigned home goods.

The Mustache CatAt The Mustache Cat, we blend vintage home goods with modern pieces from women makers and women-owned businesses, alongside a house-made line designed to give cool old stuff a new life.
Probably not surprising, my favorites are also woman owned. Some highlights - Nine Lives Thrift in Saint Paul, Emerald Lounge in Saint Paul, and across the river Statement Boutique in the North Loop.
